LOST IN TRANSLATION (poetry) by lombregrise LOST IN TRANSLATION (poetry) by lombregrise

:bulletblue: Ma seconde collaboration avec :iconwordeea: Thème : les difficultés de la traduction - en partant d'un texte original Français par moi, une première traduction Anglaise classique par Sophie. Cette première traduction anglophone est ensuite passée par le filtre de Google Translate puis réarrangée par moi, cette seconde version francophone étant ensuite repassée dans Google Translate par Sophie et réarrangée par elle, etc. Au final, un résultat, disons, intéressant

:bulletgreen: My second collaborative work with :iconwordeea: Our theme: translation difficulties - We started with an original French text written by me, that Sophie adapted in her usual way. We then put that adapted English text into Google Translate and I rearranged/adapted it; this second French translation was then put through Google Translate once more by Sophie, and she then rearranged/adapted it, etc, etc. As you can see the end result, is, interesting, for lack of a better word

Qui a dit que Google translate n'était pas poète ? Who said that Google Translate didn't have poetic abilities? :#1:

Vous pouvez trouver sa version ici // You can find her version here:

very appropriate for a piece about difficulties in translation to be in two languages

Hello Frantz, am smiling as I write this, feel sure you will be laughing at my attempt to read this obscure sentence: here goes.

Pythie De Delphes, the oracle is asked for pity and mercy, then thanked. Thought about this, it is the only explanation I can think of.
