Another day with nothing to say, blue grass green sky moving
Clouds falling into bodies of water, dissolving into smoke
The beholder is at an airport, maybe O’Hare, lost as I am
Idling, waiting to see what happens now, speaker-voices instruct
What to do in case of emergency, if the stars all fall, if, if
If all of our minds go south at once, and we can’t reach home
Who will comfort us, then, if the flights are all cancelled?
A human being sits wasting time, wasting away, cancer-ridden
Dreaming of a day unlike today, when we were strong and tall
Tall as the blue trees which scrape the green sky, puncturing
Letting all the air out

I can't accept it
I don't want to fall
But i can't change it
Because it's me.
I keep it hidden
I keep it locked
Inside a safe
A deep, dark vault
In the farthest depths
of my mind.

Weight of field implies toil unattended and not appreciated perhaps fully.
This gives a strong opening of taking things for granted,
a clear sign of good introspective thought.
Appreciation of the simply thing in life by speaking of gold not in money
but in color and time.
Flowers in silence is again beauty in nature that one see the hardwork of
and yet sees everyday, yet still a proud wonder.
The road empty, my favorite part of this piece, telling of maybe man and
his empty ignorance or all that is paved over or ignored.
Men are blinks in the eye of time in the scheme of nature but this shows
the writing of one who sees this and takes time to absorb the world that
grows unattended and therefore in this Independence should be respected
perhaps far more than a man himself.
I consider this fine work.
